Born and raised in Dermott, Arkansas, hunting and fishing wasn't just a pastime for Warren Strickland but a way of life. Warren was first introduced to bow hunting by his father, Warren Strickland, Jr., at the early age of 12. What began as a childhood obsession grew into a lifelong passion offering many challenges and adventures.

To forget about arteries, blockages and cardiology, Strickland picks up his arrows, bow and camouflage and heads to the woods. Through many years of hard work and dedication, Warren has established himself as one of the nation's top bow hunters-having taken many North American and African species. Strickland is not only an avid bow hunter, but is also recognized as an authority on "Wilderness Medicine and Outdoor Survival" and frequently writes and lectures on the subject. He presently holds Pro-Staff positions with Mossy Oaks, BassPro, Gore, Hoyt, and Easton Arrows. When not hunting, he is spending time promoting the sport by working with Boy Scouts and other fund raisers that promote the sports of hunting and fishing.
