In 2006, Nichola won Great Britain's first archery World Cup medal when she claimed bronze in the women's compound event at Antalya in Turkey.

She is a top rated FITA shooter. In February of 2009 she won the most prestigious indoor tournament by winning the women’s compound unlimited division in Las Vegas.
