Pro Hunting Staff Dr. Gary Shinn

Dr. Gary L. Shinn is a well known outdoor
writer for Doug Walker's "National Bowhunter Magazine".
In addition, he is an avid bowhunter and tournament archer. In 2004 he won the Wyoming state indoor championship in the fingers division. In May of
2004 he won the outdoor 3D National Championship in Redding, California. He is a member of the NFAA and serves as the IBO State Rep for Wyoming. Gary
has numerous Pope and Young trophies to his credit. In 2000 he was recognized as the Bowhunter Sportsman of the Year for his state organization, Bowhunters of Wyoming. Dr. Shinn is also a certified bowhunter education instructor and has taught numerous classes. Gary is also a supporting member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the North American Hunting club, along with Safari club international.
